Making Choices! Liz's Corner:Liz loves animals and she is always looking out for the birds! Over the last two weeks she has talked about how to identify birds and she also recorded a video to show us how to make food for them! The children have been doing their research and sent us in the pictures below! This week, Liz is showing us how to bake! Make a comic book out of your favourite spring festival - illustrate and narrate. Over The Moon interactive resources (Unit 12 - you can also revise the other units, they have lots of fun challenges! Maths: Measure different items around the house, are they more than a metre, less than a metre or the same as a metre? When on a walk, can you look at house numbers and identify which number is a H, T or U? Can you make a problem for the class like the ones in your book this week? Continue to look for and to make patterns! Make 'Guess my number' challenges/Maths problems Irish: Bí ag caint! Look through the vocabulary pages and use as many Irish words as you can during the day! Think of other games you could play using your newly made deck of cards. Make cards according to topic so that you can play different types of snap or go fish eg éadaí 'go fish' or 'aimsir' 'go fish'. Religion: Do a fact file on St. Brigid based on the video and the lyrics of the song in the religion section.
